Looking to customise an IKEA METOD kitchen? Here's how it works.

Choose your finish

Three ranges: high gloss, super-matt and textured. The same unit looks completely different depending on the front you choose.

Mirror

High gloss · mirror effect

High-gloss lacquer with a mirror effect on an MDF board with excellent physical and mechanical properties. Its UV-cured lacquer layer adds hardness, gloss and scratch resistance, so it keeps looking new for longer.

Matt

Super-matt · silky touch

Super-matt lacquer with a silky touch on an MDF board. It barely reflects light, doesn't show fingerprints and stands up very well to abrasion, horizontal surfaces included.

Texture

Synchronised texture

Textured surface with a relief synchronised with the pattern, for strikingly natural woods, stones and fabrics. It comes on a particleboard made with 70% recycled material.

Choose your door and handle

Flat doors with an integrated handle, in the finish of your choice, or natural wood doors with their own design.

The handle is part of the door

It doesn't stick out, nothing catches on it and the fronts stay clean. These are MDF doors made in any finish from our Mirror, Matt and Texture ranges: the colour in each photo is just an example.

Formentera

A handle profile along the top edge, available in a wide range of colours to match the door.

Lanzarote

Clean lines and a discreet handle built into the top edge. You barely notice it's there.

Madeira

A brushed-effect handle built into the top edge. You can see it, but it stays within the line of the door.

Mallorca

A J-pull (gola) profile effect built into the door: the look of a handleless kitchen without fitting a separate profile.

Menorca

A U-shaped handle, practical and ergonomic. It pairs with Mallorca to keep the same line throughout the kitchen.

Tenerife

The top edge is cut at a 45° angle and acts as the handle. Comfortable to open, with a very refined detail.

These are guide prices: they start from the Mirror range and include design, manufacturing and installation in Gran Canaria. They don't include the worktop or appliances. The final quote depends on the actual measurements of your space and the finishes you choose.
